Education at SKSgi is not limted to books only. It is the nurturing of the future Engineers, Managers and Orators, Along with Conferences, Seminars, Industry Visits, Workshops, Guest Lectures from eminent people in the industry several other extra curricular activities are also organized.

Generally the Week of the even semesters in January is scheduled for Cultural Fests, Sports Competitions, Cricket Tournaments, Football Tournaments and Bolly-Nites every year.

The Sportscum Cultural Week is organized during 20th-25th January every year. The "Final Cricket Countdown" and the "EUPHONIC" and the "Bollywood Nite" is held during this week where students enjoy themselves throughly, and bring the best performers out of them.

The Foundation Day programme is celebrated on 4th September every year. On this occasion, leading luminaries, academician, industrialist, dignitaries and other important guests are invited to grace the occasion. There is an interactive session between the students, guests and dignitaries. The day marks the cross cultural interaction and knowledge enrichment through this interactive session. There is a cultural programme in the evening which is organized by the enthusiastic students groups and participated by all the students of Campus Mathura.

The extra curricular activity contribute to the over all development of the students. It encourages students to work in a team for common objective together.
